Author Topic: Stopping gencircle mod  (Read 1375 times)

I'm using the gencircle mod to make a giant circle that takes forever. I'm only building it a quarter of one so I don't want to wait 2x as long for only half of the circle. I tried Self Delete to stop the building sequence but it just kept on going. Is there something I can do to stop it halfway through its building sequence?

save, then restart game

there might be a way in the script, or modify it to only build 1/4 of the circle

save, then restart game
really impractical

good idea

numpad 0?
what would that do just curious?

clears your temp brick, probably wouldn't stop the circle thing though

if it's coded properly there's probably a way to stop it

i checked the script and there's nothing i can see as a way to stop it. what would i add if i wanted to add a script to stop the circle? that doesn't seem too difficult

save, then restart game
just tried this and when i placed the brick after restarting the game it continued the sequence believe it or not

the building is affected by timescale so is there some mod i can get to push the speed past timescale 2.0?

just tried this and when i placed the brick after restarting the game it continued the sequence believe it or not
you're lying or you started it again yourself, that's literally impossible

it may not be straightforward, but i can't really help you figure out what it would be since i don't have this mod

i didn't quit the whole game, just disconnected and started a new game and it continued the build

that's your problem then. that solution would only work if you actually stopped the game and started it again

aight

if you posted the code so I could see it then I could help you with that

"placed the brick"

so is it client-sided or not?
if it is this would work

numpad 0?
