Author Topic: How do you feel about muslims?  (Read 4888 times)

Having no religion what so ever, technically I'm not even atheist.

atheism is the lack of a belief in a god/deity so yes you are

i think we should just outlaw all religions except atheism and intelligence

I'm an Agnostic, but I really dislike arrogance among young people. Any philosophy can have good and bad to it. It's what you make of it though. I find it laughable when young thinkers hate when religious may smear Atheists, but young Atheists seem to do the same. Faith and intelligence don't have a correlation.

notice how you couldnt say the religion itself? while you can proper noun the atheists.

thats exactly the problem that you are not seeing.
the religion is evil and dangerous. not necessarily the faithful that follow the religions.
atheists dont have some hierarchy club of rules and shame and guilt and responsibility to a leader.
they are already superior, even if an individual is not intelligent.

I, for one, would prefer the planet without them

I don't give a stuff because they're people.
Like all the other people on the planet.

Actually, there is one particular Muslim I do have a problem with, he has a tendency to make way too many topics...
jk plz dont kill me

wee-woo wee-woo prick alert
Seriously, no (lack-of-)religions are better than others. I hate when people give a bad name to atheists like this; we're not better than Christians or Muslims, and we as have many rooster-shovey full-of-themselves members as any other religions. Just because we're less organized doesn't make us better.

its a rather strange definition, i wouldnt say that not believing is the same thing as being an atheist
as far as i can tell:
atheism: denying there is a god
agnostic/irreligious: doesnt worship or follow a god

I don't give a stuff because they're people.

you dont need a religion to follow the teachings of muhammad or jesus.

the second you have someone preaching to you from a pedestal what you could already read for yourself, and giving money to the organization that trickles up the the higher pockets, giving man power over you just because you believe something.
you dont need a middle man to your god. that makes you a slave and a fool.
your faith has already been corrupted.
you dont need religion to have faith.

the only thing i relate to muslims is
A) stupidity
B) Self Delete bombing

You should learn more about them

Many of the Christians I know (can't say for Muslims considering I know of none) don't even really go to church. More importantly, it's their decision if they think one man is more holy or powerful than them; they don't have absolute power and only have any because people decide to believe in them. It's not like being religious requires that you look up to someone like a priest and if they do they do it consciously.

God damn does anyone even realize that Islam is a religion and not a terrorist group... only extremists do stuff like this and unfortunately they're getting a terrible rep because normal people don't make it into the news.

cept jesus specifically told them not to.
and behold, the only ones that teach contrary to that is the preachers, who then ask for your money.

if your christian friends actually believe this then they are not following their prophet. and their faith is meaningless and misled.

People don't have to adhere absolutely to their religion; if they like part of it and dislike some of it, nobody's stopping them from following a variant; also, out of curiosity, can you quote this part of the Bible if you know for sure it's in there?

matthew 23
jesus just flips out

the entire point of having written word read to you was because no one could read.
the world is different now, and all the evils of religion exploiting the people for power and wealth have come true to what he claimed would happen.

Tradition.

Priests need money somehow and most churches are non-profit. Otherwise, I can't say much other than "oh well."
