Author Topic: Can't play audio on Youtube videos where you can effect the speed.  (Read 461 times)

It plays audio on any other type of video.

I started getting annoyed when audio wasn't playing for only some videos, then I looked for a pattern. You can effect the speed in all of them. So I guess its something about that breaking the videos so I can't hear them.

Use a different browser.

but for real, try reinstalling flash? also check if you're even using the flash player or the wonky beta html5 player

tried on firefox, it works, but im not just going to change browsers. any tips to fix it for chrome would be great

Disable the HTML5 player if it's enabled.

wonky beta html5 player

what the stuff, it's been forcing HTML5 on half of the videos I watch (certain videos are still flash, has nothing to do with upload date...embedded vids are still flash) and/or upload for the past few months. how is it still in beta?

Sorry, but it really bugs me that nobody knows the difference between "effect" and "affect"

forgeted around with youtube options, fixed it.
