Author Topic: You have $2,500 (or your regional equivilant). What do you spend it on?  (Read 1898 times)

We've all been asked what other people should spend their money on.  However thats their money so they'll never roll about to buying you games you want.

Now lets put it into the case of what you want.
Granted a smart person would usually save it. But thats not what the point of this is.

If you had an extra $2,500 what would you buy with it? A junker car? 2500 $1 hookers? 1 $2500 hooker? Steam games?
Go nuts.

I would make my computer into a $5,000 computer.

Idk let me ask the forums first

Keep it because it's not enough to afford this.

That's a difficult question having upgraded my graphics card in the last month. I'd probably keep it separate from the rest of my finances and use it for random stuff that I decide I want. I would probably avoid spending it all on one particular thing, but I'd be looking into SLI.

If I was feeling responsible and properly connected to my current financial situation, 100% of it would go toward college. :[

No, that's a lie. I'd put $300 in my Steam wallet first.

the best computer
2500 will not get you even close to the best desktop computer...
maybe $8000 dollars, maybe

What gpu do you have?

I'd probably invest it for a car.

I would be a cheesy sap and spend it on a vacation to visit cool people.

Idk I made a 2k build for my dad that included a monitor and it kicks most conputer's asses. Got most of the high end parts for it. :\

Roughly £1500.

I would love to have that much money to take the strain off of what little money I have left following my Christmas Job.

For starters I am hopefully going to Rome this Easter with some friends, and the money would go towards my travel and accomodation there, as well as visiting museums and eating out.

I also need to purchase a provisional drivers license, so I can learn to drive.
And then I need to purchase driving lessons until I can drive.

And then I'm going to University this year, so the money will likely help me keep comfortable in my first year while I await my bursaries and so forth.
