I honestly think that (even though this isn't sifi) that The Butler was a great movie.

I just watched it yesterday, and it was an excellent movie. It was so emotional, and the acting was superb. I want to watch 12 Years of Slave, Blue Jasmine (a new Woody Allen Movie), the LEGO Movie, and Muppets Most Wanted this year. The only thing which I think bothered me about The Butler was how they made a comment comparing American slavery to the Holocaust. I don't think it was right, figures why they weren't given a SAG award, or even an Oscar.

American slavery was very much like the Holocaust. It did indeed last for 200 years, while the Holocaust only lasted for, what, 7? Once slavery was abolished, the black people were still being treated like pigs. It is to the level of the Holocaust, and in my belief, above and a little beyond.
