Americans are great until you get the P-51, then you realise that 1) The F4U-1c is infinitely superior and 2) It's going to take you forever to get the F8F with cannons. I did very well with .50's up until the P-51, once you get into tier-4 they suddenly become completely inadequate, even with the special tracer rounds the P-47 and P-51 get.
yep, machine guns ain't gonna cut it for rank 4 or 5. mig-15 may be a bit slower to turn than a f-86, but with those 3 apocalyptic cannons (2 23mm's and a 37mm the fires like crazy), its probably the best jet in the game
i mean seriously, that recoil is beast. i got my mig-9 (same armament) to start rolling 30km/s backwards on the runway by just firing short bursts from the cannons
