So when I got up this morning, I got a text from my friend. She told me her house burned down, I thought she was bluffing. Turns out, on the news was reports of fires in Shadowfield Drive. Should I offer her a place to stay?

yes you should

seriously what kinda question is that? cool friend loses roof over head, and you hestitate to offer they live at your place for a while?

well, most importantly, it's not his place to offer

My parents said they would probably get a place to stay, I'm skeptical. So I wanted to make sure she does. I'm just waiting for a reply.

Shadowfield Drive
this is a pretty sweet street name
sorry about the house though

I'm sure you'd be totally happy if someone offered somebody else a room in your home
