Author Topic: [Video 'Concept'] 60fps on Youtube  (Read 846 times)

Already you're probally wondering how I got 60fps on Youtube.
The way to do it, is to use the HTML5 player, and set the video speed to 2x, if the video is slowed down by 50% (like this example).
The only problem with this is the audio, sounds not that great.

If you're confused, if you didn't know, Youtube only allows 30fps video to be uploaded. This is probally the best way to get smooth video.
Not good audio though.

Example is here:
60fps

Edit: I'm not sure if this is the right place. Please tell me if this topic isn't.

Good job enabling marketing on your video. This means that it will always use the Flash player, even if you request the HTML5 player by opting in or adding &html5=1 to the URL.

A much better way to make a 60 FPS video: Upload it in 2160p.

I need to update SV for that, will redo later

Yup, there we go, speed options appeared.

You should change the link in the OP to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUVFD-h8n0Y&html5=1.

Done.

Apparently my version of SV, even when updated, still can't render higher than 1080p.
:c

Makes a suprisingly large difference, looks very smooth.

You're not the first person to think of this, if that's what you're saying

I know, I wanted to see if I could do it.
I also wanted to share it with everyone else too
