Author Topic: Steam Player Retention  (Read 2790 times)

Just put Blockland on sale again and watch the daily playercount rise.

We need to make some really good servers and have a free weekend.

Just out of random curiosity...
How do new players find out about what RTB is about and how to download it?

I'm doubting that most of them do. RTB really needs to be released in Blockland by default.

Or as official free DLC.

They don't
this accounts for people joining servers running rtb

RTB's ID list consists of all players even without RTB

now that I think about it, steam only helped blockland grow for an entire 2 weeks

Then there's also the separate issue with people not ever seeing the game on account of it no longer being on the front page and nobody of note bothered to video review it

yeah this makes me mad

i hoped at least someone would review it. It's almost like nothing happened.

This might be a bit off-topic, but when will they let steam users on the forums?
This might have been added already, I'm not sure.

It doesn't matter as long as Badspot gets his money...

Wrong.
It consists of players who have RTB, and players who visit RTB servers.

We're at 87 000? Holy hell.

Players that went out of their way to download and play blockland pre-steam are probably more dedicated to blockland.

One of steam's functions is as a game collector's container.
