Author Topic: Did anybody know this glitch in the demo version of Blockland?  (Read 2251 times)

The modter bricks are pretty much as sharp as the terrains were, just at variable scales.
I'm gonna have to completely disagree with you there. Modter doesn't replace terrain well in the slightest. You just can't get enough precision with modter.
I'm not saying modter is bad, I'm just saying it doesn't replace terrain effectively.

You couldn't get any precision with terrains either.

And I wasn't saying it replaced it. I said skiing on them is effectively the same.
I often wonder how people forget how rigid as forget terrains were.

I have to disagree completely. Maps gave a smooth transition when using skis, modtier has the plane effect. Whenever you jump from a x8 to say, a x16. There is no smooth transition, only "poof" and your off to the moon. You can't do this without getting harmful effects anyway, even if you made sure it was all "ramped" perfectly.

Not sure what you mean by this.

I was able to ski back and forth on this without any sort of negative effects.

Look at the far right of the picture, you see how it does this >-<? Is there not a jumpy transition?

Going up and down it didn't cause any sort of problems.
