Why don't weapons that have ironsights use zoom to ironsight?

Yea zooming is client-side, meaning other people can't tell if you're zoomed or not. Things like light-key need to be sent to the server so everyone can see.

It has guns and first person, and many popular servers right now involve some form of shooting

so yes Blockland can be considered an FPS depending on whether you are shooting or not.

Not without a client mod to tell the server "ey bitch i'm zoomed," but if one were going to make a client sided mod to do something like there'd be far better ways to go about it.
