We ARE Open - Monday, January 27th!

We will continue to watch weather forecasts throughout the evening, up until 4:30 am. We do not plan to close schools unless a 'wind chill warning' is forecast for the Monday morning student travel times. As of 5:00 p.m., the National Weather Service is forecasting a wind chill advisory for Monday.

A decision for Tuesday will be made by noon on Monday.

If you feel that it is unsafe for your student to travel to school in any kind of inclement weather, whether it is snow or extreme cold, you have the option of keeping you child home without any academic or attendance penalty.
:(
still optional to go to school, but my bro iant drivin me cuz his car is colder than outside (heat doesnt work) so forget that stuff
takes like 40 mins to get from our house to school so i aint riskin it.

That's basically a pussied out snow day, ain't nobody going to school if they don't have to. Kind of stupid, really, because that means teachers still have to show up "just in case" for the like two poor kids whose parents are richards.

Wait...

Oh, you're the teacher.  I thought you were saying you were a HS student.

you're about a year late to the hilarity party mate

No snow here yet. Thought it might have been an early snow here this year, but I think we won't see it until mid February.
We've justdhad seemingly torrential rain and high winds instead.

I really am getting sick of this Polar Vortex crap. It's not natural for it to be like -20 in Indiana :c

"Update -- Due to the frigid wind chills, South Milwaukee Schools will be CLOSED on Monday January 27th and Tuesday January 28th. -- Update"

Hells bells, right? I woke up to my parents not screaming at me at 9:00 and figured anyway.

In California we are suffering for drought a massive hot pressure zone. It is pretty much spring time over here in terms of temperature.

I still haven't gotten any snow days this year, we've only had snow like once and it was a day I already didn't have school. I think I'm just gonna take a day or two off to compensate.

had snow day too today. sucks because they postponed exams
