I still don't understand why Jewish people don't eat pork. I think in Exodus or Leviticus, God says not to eat pork for health concerns due to bad cooking methods back then. It takes a lot of heat to destroy any of those lethal cysts inside pigs. Now that cooking is advanced today, it's totally fine.
