Upload speeds are generally terrible because they don't matter that much to the average person.

im 50 down, 15 up. i thought that was the normal ratio.

anyone who has ever used a torrent (need good peer ratios) or played a game over the internet, needs upload WAY WAY WAYYYYYY more then download.

downloading is for watching youtube and being able to do it well on 4 pcs on the same network.
thats about it.

more download's only benefit is multitasking devices.
for any 1 person, they want all the upload possible and thats it. he would be fine with a basic 8down.

Yeah. There's no need for much more upload than we already get. All I do is put up a server every now and then for my 2 or 3 cousins. Maybe some friends, too.

It's pretty useful in our case because I often have my cousins over and we'd need internet for 5 or more devices.
