Do this:

(Open BL, then:)
1. Join A Server
2. Join IP
3. IP: 127.0.0.1
4. Put in a pass if you have one.
5. Join.
6. ???
7. Profit.

IP 127.0.0.1 SHOULD connect you to the same comp. you are using...
Is it an internet Dedi, running on the same computer?
That IP has always worked for me...
