What's the point in making text too small to read?

i use size as i would with volume. example: if a text was super huge i would think the person who made it big would be yelling it out as loud as they can.

But still. Why make it too small to read? Just make it smaller, but still big enough to read.

If it helps, there's dozens of pictures of the spartans from Halo Reach on Google Images and on the official website, and Garry's Mod even has a Halo Reach Spartan model with some (but not all) armors, and a model pack that has all the helmets
