Author Topic: Stranded at school because of snow storm  (Read 5835 times)

Since it is snowing here in Alabama, our school has closed down early. However, one of the roads home is closed, and the other way is uphill, so the bus drove us back to school and we are all waiting in the library.

EDIT: fixed the title for less confusion, and the flurries are turning into balls.

I thought the title said
"Stranded at school because of snow furries"

OT: What a bummer man

Oh my.

It probably doesn't snow very much there, does it?

snow storm =/= flurries. Right?

snow storm =/= flurries. Right?

Flurries are light amounts of snow that at most leave a very thin layer on the ground. They're like snow's version of rain "sprinkles."

I've been stranded at school right now for the past 3 hours, last time this happened we didn't get home until 5pm. But my teacher gave us free candy and drinks, and let us play with his tool kit, so I guess that's a plus.

Really, that sounds like fun actually.

Sounds like a blast. I'd love to be trapped with everyone in school. WHAT IF WE HAD TO SPEND THE NIGHT BECAUSE THE DOORS GOT SNOWED OVER? THAT WOULD BE SO SWEET.

One time it was raining a lot in 4th grade so we had to stay there after school and wait for our parents to pick us up.
