Author Topic: The great mistake  (Read 1624 times)

While putting Blockland on steam has given the game an increased rate of indulgence, I believe it was a mistake. The slow community grow made Blockland Unique, and gave the game a better feel. I could join a freebuild server without seeing red vehicle plates covering the ground; and join a TDM without being spawn killed instantly by some degenerate fool looking for a bit of fun to fill his bland life, So many kids are subjected to modern technology and their brains are damaged, they spread their disease all over the internet, Blockland felt like a safe-haven from all that, yet now it feels like just another cesspit of small minded autistic children. Not something I want to come home from work, or school to see.

You do realize this is most likely how you were like when you first joined, right? And also you should just let some kids have fun, and learn the game. If you are so tired of seeing this type of stuff everywhere maybe try to stop it by hosting a server to help people, or making a steam guide.

all the things you listed are and have always been typical of most servers of the specified type

generally this is a direct result of poor hosting/server upkeep

i agree kids should not be allowed to play a video game about virtual legos

Blockland felt like a safe-haven from all that, yet now it feels like just another cesspit of small minded autistic children.
lol where have you been? blockland has had a bunch of immature little kids for a long while. i mean, it's marketed to kids, so...

Immature children occured long before the internet was even invented.
Children having more access to the internet will transmit their immaturity, and lots of people use the internet so they will see their immaturity.
Their immaturity and ignorance is normal, but they will not know what they get into, because they are unable to come to decent decisions.

Anyways, this seems like you're breaking the rules.

You are the cancer

I think Blockland has either improved or at least stayed the same since I started in 2008. New players are always going to be planting random vehicle spawns no matter what.

So many kids are subjected to modern technology and their brains are damaged

I've seen too many posts like this recently.  I never realize there were so many tweenage Bill O'reilly fans.

Honestly, this is nothing new. If this can even be considered an issue, it's one that's been around since nearly the beginning of time: Stupid people exist.

Seriously.
