Try highlighting the blockland folder in Documents/Blockland, right click it, and set permissions to read and write for everything.
You'll get it, just try c:

All files that a program uses become temporarily protected by the Operating System while it's reading them. It's why you can't launch 2 Blocklands at once.

Something messed up Blockland and is causing it to not remove the effect, I'm assuming. Try moving your entire add-ons folder onto your Desktop. Make sure everything is in non Read-Only mode when launching. Open Blockland, and your missing default addons will be redownloaded. This way you'll be able to play with default addons, and see if one of the mods you have installed is causing the problem.

I did EXACTLY What you told me to do, It isn't working ;^:

when you set it to read/write and run blockland, does it reset back to read only?
if it does then the folder above that might be set to read only and also needs to be changed

is the op on windows or mac

If the OP is on mac, then click the Apple button on the OS toolbar, and click About this Mac. Tell us the OS version. (10.6.5, 10.9, 10.4.10, etc.)

Mac OS X has really weird compatibility issues with Blockland that are different for each version.

Are you using Steam or just the regular launcher?

Move all your files into a different folder ("%HOMEPATH%\My Documents\BlocklandBackup" maybe?) and try unchecking Read Only. Then delete the Blockland folder and open the game via launcher (or reinstall if you're on Steam). Move your files back into the newly-created Blockland folder.

Guys here is what it fully says :

Blockland - BlobContainer::snapshotbuffer(2) - sqlite error 'database disk image is malfortmed'. Ensure that 'C:/Users/(Name)/Documents/Blockland' is writable

I have a dell laptop, Windows 7, Im playing blockland Non-steam.

I have had this before, If you have a mac, i can not help you, but if you have a Microsoft here is what you do, 1st make sure your Hard drive's memory is not full, if it is you will have to delete files. 2nd if your hard drive is not full, go to the Blockland folder, right click and click on Properties. Then look at the read only check box, if it is marked unmark it. Then it will bring up two more boxes saying something like, apply to folder and apply to folder and sub folders. click on the second one. You may have to restart computer, also may want to repeat if you have a stubborn XP from 2003 that is indestructible like mine.

I Did this twice, and it didn't work at all.

Alternatively, download this: http://blockland.us/files/BlocklandPortable.zip, unzip it in a folder on your desktop or something, and run the bat to start the game.

It said 'BlocklandLauncher.exe' could not be found

BlocklandLauncher.exe should be in the same folder as the bat file.
