Should i get an Ipod touch or wait?

So I used to have an ipod touch 4th gen, but my mom made me sell it like 5 months ago. I miss it and want an ipod again. Should I get the current 5th gen ipod touch or wait for the next gen wich will come out sometime in the next 3 years?

i had 4th gen ipod touch

after about a year of pretty heavy usage the battery eventually couldn't hold a charge and the screen could be pressed in really easily
pretty disappointing, i guess if you want it to last a decent amount of time you'll have to use it in moderation

if anything i recommend the moto g, it's a phone but it's $199 and has better specs than the current (and probably next) gen ipod

I'd hate to be the one to deviate from the original subject, but after a bit of research, it seems as though the Google Nexus 7 costs the same as the current iPod touch...

I mean, if you want an iPod then get one, but I don't really think it's nearly as good of a deal.

if you can wait for the next gen then wait for it

honestly, i would wait or you could buy an unlocked iphone 4s/5c/5s and just use it as an ipod.

you could just buy a used iphone with no sim and itd work fine
