So one of my new suitemates at uni runs a pretty nice Minecraft server for him and his friends. It's got a decent amount of mods that give it a more RPG like feel. Since I've started playing on it I've started to develop plugins for the server and have been labled a developer. I figured if I posted a topic about it here I might be able to increase the playerbase by a decent bit, since we've got a good amount of Minecraft fans here. Someday I may make a server of my own and connect it in ways to the server, for example allowing you to transfer items between your inventories from different servers.

Rules:

No client side mods that give you an advantage. (exception: rader/minimap)
No griefing
Theft is frowed upon, but since chests can be locked by hitting them with a stick, this isn't a problem
PVP is allowed. If you kill people randomly, you may be hunted though. Death messages are anonymous, however.
Don't spam chat

Features:

Levels are saved when you die, and aren't needed for enchanting.
Using your levels, you can put points into player stats, such as unarmed, luck, or agility.
Enchating costs ender eyes, not expierence.
Armor and weapons stat mod, armor and weapons have various stats.
Monsters drop unique items with special stats.
Monsters get harder and drop better things as you move futher from spawn
Socket gems drop from some monsters, they can be used to improve items with free sockets
Rewritten combat system
Custom items
Shops, auction houses
