repairing my airsoft gun

So I was shooting it an all of a suuden a piece goes flying out the front. I grab the piec3 and go back inside to take a look at it

if you cant tell, the silver piece connects the slide to the spring
I really need help fixing this. I think it was originaly held together with glue

oh no the piece rests on the spring, it was glued to the slide. Well there arnt any professionals in my town and im not all that sure glue will survive the blowback.

the three is because the E so close to the 3 and accidentally hit it  instead
