then you can adopt an ideology if one hasn't already been adopted for you

your goals are to lower and eventually eliminate the influence of the opposing ideology as well as ensure the longevity of your big brother (usa or ussr depending on your alignment)

Sweden operates by a democratic system, but it is very much socialistic in nature.  Communist and capitalist parties are pretty common in Sweden, so it's not really a problem.  UPN is also a nonpartisan organization stating that we will in no way choose sides unless forced to (as in being attacked).  Either way, Swedish scholars wish to travel for educations, citizens want to tour the world in many places.

Regardless of ideology, Sweden wishes to embrace nonpartisan community.
