I tried to resize it to 74x74 (yes I know it is 75x75 but that won't work).

1. Make sure you are not putting a file in the box, not a link (I don't know if it's possible to put links in it, so might not be an issue)

2. Clear your cache.

I have issues with it sometimes.  Clearing the cache almost always works, same with closing and re-opening the forums.

75x75 will work, but you need to recompile it or something.

I get these things to work by re-exporting things from GIMP and overwriting the previous file.

I'm not sure how it'll work for you though.
