I simply love grammar. My mom teaches grammar, so I've definitely picked a lot up along the way. I almost never misspell something unless I'm doing on purpose like "poast". I actually strive to come across like an intelligent human being on the internet.

I'm not a noob because I don't engage in noobie activities. I don't spam, I don't pester for admin, I don't pink, and on the forums I'm (usually) not an unmerited twelve year old richardwad with bad grammar.

By not engaging in, commenting on, or even thinking about noobie activities.

How I am not a n00b: when I make a typo, I go back to correct it by saying "er, spaghetti" or whatever.

How not to be a n00b: No need to spell correctly. It's nice to have, but sometimes it's nice to spell nice "niec." also, be willing to forgive people. if they kill you in a DM, don't leave the game. also, don't spam. Spamming is bad.

A real noob is one who just "flames" people that try to help other people, like you.
