How long did your parents date for?

So for some strange reason I stumbled upon watching failed proposals on youtube and I think its kinda weird to ask a girl to marry you after a couple months unless you become really close.

So just wonder how long your parents dated before they ended up getting married. My dad said he dated my mom for 6 years which I think is pretty crazy actually.

My dad was drunk as hell and danced with my mom at a bar.

They switched numbers and my mom almost didn't call him
