Read this topic, hopped on for 4 hours. Tried to loot a farm in the middle of a forest, ganked by 10-20 zombies, died. Respawn, carefully apporach a small town, suddenly a group of like 9 guys with heavy weaponary come around the corner and shoot me, die. Third life, tried to find a spot that didn't have >40 zombies, gave up.

It's still stuff unless you want to pay money.

Your first problem is the fact you didn't use tactical items such as flares or chemlights which are the most common objects. Your second problem is that you probably when on an official server which is basically made for pvp.
I go on a server which bans for pvp, and i love it :)

i loving hate the PVP in this game since its so stuff

also whats the point of chemlights and flairs??

Chemlights and flares can be used for a number of things. They can be used to distract zombies, if you throw them near a group of zombies, they will all go over to it.
They can be used to give directions to other players, for instance "help, I'm stuck in this building, zombies surround us, I'll put a flare outside it"
Or you can use them to have a super cool rave.
I will find out the server name of the one I use when I am on my computer.
I suggest you use private servers if you want a less crowded game

Sometimes when me and pass play on our pve server, we kill a player and then say the player shot at us first :L
