Author Topic: Playing Blockland without Internet  (Read 1357 times)

I remember it used to be possible to play without being connected to the internet, but what happened to this?
before the game used to start without connecting to the master server, but now with the launcher it needs the internet to run
is there a way around this while playing without internet or is playing offline gone now?

idk what happened but now it keeps saying no URL set in game manifest, i dunno whats going on!

authentication server is down
as is the master server

... and it is now required to connect to them to launch the game, which requires internet

why would they be closing RTB on march???

It works for me.  Online play hasn't worked for me since January 07 I think.  It briefly worked on January 26, but was back down again by the next morning.  It has nothing to do with DDoSing, it's just some issue with authenticating through my computer, because not even my alts work.

Offline mode should work if you're completely disconnected from the internet. The launcher just doesn't like when it is able to send to the master server, but never gets a response.

again tried turning off the wifi connection on my laptop and starting up blockland, both tries didn't work
same problem as with an internet connection

I guess i'll try turning it off and restarting my computer

still doesn't work, even without internet from startup

how can I get blockland to launch without internet? it seems to require the connection

Are you being stopped by the launcher?

yes, it's the same error, no URL set in game manifest

seems like your having a issue there...
steam is the answer

steam doesn't recognize my nonstandard install directory of my flash drive. If you got a fix for that you should probably tell me now.
