I don't think so, since Minecraft servers do it although not many people will want to donate just to go on a Blockland server

Gonna go out on a limb here and assume that nobody has that dream.

Anyway you are going to have a very low turn out if you charge people to join. However if your server is half decent you could ask for donations and allow those users to have extra features and stuff.

The demographic for blockland isn't going to pay for something they can't see.

A VIP system like Danny suggested would work significantly better - and does, on several popular servers.

Make sure the extra features are only gimmicks and DO NOT affect gameplay.

If the server donations arent used to help lower server costs you should be askng for them.

however like said, offering a vip program or something usually attracts people to donating, as long as it doesnt effect the server gameplay
