So I need to know how to move parts of the video/delete them. I'm talking about the picture, to change words around and such (i.e the video picture says "shift", but delete the "f" to say "stuff").

or if you want it to move then just take 3 clips at once, one that says "shi" then "f" then "t". use pan and crop to move the f off screen and then move t closer to shi

the "shift" is a hint that we need to crack a code
the shift also hints that the code will be in all caps because holding down shift makes IT GO ALL CAPS.

Are you saying the text is inside of the video? A quick and dirty way to do it in that case would be to just add text over it and mess around with the settings until it looks believable.

This all depends on the nature of the clip you're working with.
