Author Topic: WHY IS YOUR STATE THE BEST?! v1  (Read 6181 times)

Minnesota because we gave you cereal.

South Dakota because Mount Rushmore.

Well....of states I've stayed more than 24 hours in....

I was born in Illinois, and I think it is pretty awesome.

I live in Missouri.  The drivers are horrible and there isn't a ton to do unless I drive a long way.  I don't think I'd give it 'best state'.

Michigan would work well as North Florida.  Summers are amazing (hot one day, cool the next, something for everyone), you have beaches everywhere, instead of dirt, you have sand over everything (even forests), etc.

Florida gets too hot for me, and I don't really care for swimming in the ocean.  Everything available that's fun to do is so freaking expensive.

Texas is hot all the time.  I like Sea World though.  Didn't do a ton when I was there besides the Alamo, Sea World, stuff around Austin and Dallas.

Kentucky has the Corvette Museum/factory (should win for that right there).  Also did Mammoth Cave, Louisville, Kentucky Horse Park, other things around Lexington, etc.

I'd say it'd be weighed between Michigan and Kentucky.

pennsylvania because forget the other states

7 presidents came from ohio, we have forgetin COSI, and like 90% of people here are cool

All da immigrants came here
Statue of Liberty
Niagra falls
Freedom tower
General Electric
Uncle Sam is buried in Troy, NY. About 20 mins away from me.
Stock exchange
Wall Street
Central Park
Empire State Building
Pentagon
Museum of Natural History
Low housing prices
Pretty much the capital of all business.
Very warm summer but cold winters for skiing as well.

The list could go on and on

Hey uh
Could you allow us to change votes

my state is the worst

BUCK FOSTON
GO NEW YORK  :cookieMonster:

illinois because i live there

AZ because Mexican food.

California - Its big, underrepresented in many places, too many laws and regulation, people will sue civilly over anything.

Alabama, cause of all the beautiful water down south

New Jersey, because fat governor who is stuck in a traffic conspiracy and wants to run for president.

washington- east of the cascade mountains is stuff, anything west is great. so many great forests and cities.
take seattle. one of the greenest, cleanest cities in america, one of the highest graduation rates in america, lots of tech jobs like amazon, google, valve, microsoft, boeing, etc. people are decent unlike the savages of new york. barely qny homelessness. climate is great, not too cold or hot. probably the best city in america
