Author Topic: The torque converter on my mom's car just broke.  (Read 1518 times)

For non-car people: the torque converter is what changes your engine's spinning into your tires spinning in an automatic car. If your torque converter doesn't work, your engine will rev up but it won't be connected to your tires so they won't spin.

Did you get any syntax errors?

Well we already had the obligatory "ask a lego forum" post, so now all that's left is the humor to be found in the similarities between cars and blockland modding.

In that case...

Did you check the DSQs for the converter? You might need to redownload!

What do you think went wrong?
Sounds like a problem with the torque converter.

The torque converter essentially acts as a "clutch" of sorts in an automatic transmission that allows you t sit while in drive and not stall the engine.  If it breaks you are pretty much forgeted.
