Author Topic: Flappy Bird creator apologizes and plans to remove the game from the app store  (Read 19286 times)

i dont understand, flappy birds isnt that bad of a game?

hey look it's phil fish no.2

I'm kind of annoyed that I'll never get to beat my friend's record of 157. I was close, too. Had 144. It just takes so much damn time to get that far.

hey look it's phil fish no.2
he's not nearly as much of a cunt as Phil Fish is (and he hasn't told anyone to suck his richard yet)

um
a game made in 3 days isnt a high sign of quality
you're saying that if the same game was made in 3 months, you would've had a better opinion about it?

I tried it but it's not even a fun hard game. Fun, hard games are actually satisfying when you get good at them but this is perpetually annoying.

plus he didn't tell us that he was a gay friend and quit making games like phil fish did

you're saying that if the same game was made in 3 months, you would've had a better opinion about it?
Are you really that dumb or are you just being a cunt about semantics? He was obviously saying that if a game can be made in 3 days, it probably isn't a very quality game.

are you really that idiotic to think that a simple game which you tap on a fish could take more than 3 days to make? what additional "quality" could come from extra development time?

That's the point-- the concept is inherently flawed in his mind. It's low quality because the game has so little to offer. I disagree, I think the game is surprisingly fun, but obviously he thinks the simplicity takes away from the quality of the game.

simplicity/little to offer =/= low quality
take minecraft for example, it started out as a game where you just place blocks but it exploded with popularity

Then disagree with him by saying that simple / easy to develop games aren't low quality by nature. Don't attack the semantics of his message by straw manning his argument into something that makes him sound dumb.

The argument would have been so much better if it'd just gone like this:

um
a game made in 3 days isnt a high sign of quality
simplicity/little to offer =/= low quality
take minecraft for example, it started out as a game where you just place blocks but it exploded with popularity

Itt: "I HATE FLAPPY BIRD BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE PLAYS IT THEREFORE ITS CANCER AND I MUST HATE IT ALWAYS FOREVER"
[circle jerking intensifies]
Seems pretty accurate, I have just only heard about this game and from what I infer, that is what is going on in this thread.

I shall never uninstall it.
