It's probably worth noting that the hands will always be grey.
And that parts of the Five-seveN are rounded.

@poll:
"Keep them. Just like in Counter Strike."
Are you mental?

no he's just stupid

op keeps using 'ironsights' to refer to the literal sights on the gun, not the ability to look down them. its basically just a communication disconnect

Oh! I was under the impression that 'Iron sights' and 'sights' meant the same thing. One hundred percent my fault. I guess it's useless to replace all instances of 'iron sight' in this topic, so i'll just leave it for now.

What i'm trying to communicate: The sights that I modeled on the top of the slide are there just because it looks nice; They serve no function whatsoever in this add-on. I didn't put them on so that they could taunt people while they use the mod, I just put it on because they are present in Counter-Strike: Source as well.

I guess that's one way to label somebody who misuses a word.

No, they /are/ iron sights.
The point is that in Blockland "iron sights" has been generally repurposed in "aiming down the sights".
And now the second part is that of course you should keep the iron sights because there are tons of weapon add-ons that do have "iron sights" without "aiming down the sights". This makes more sense now.

this is the strangest addon-related miscommunication i have ever seen

you could have made it look like an actual five seven without making it high poly...

why are you still fighting about ironsights because there is none, i rightclicked

I changed the sounds (and made the mag-in sound actually work) to the csgo ones and made it shoot faster aswell as added some small amount of screenshake when you reload and when you shoot it. And when you equip it, but in different levels.

yeah, the gun is too high poly

also, you messed up a little on the reload animation where you can see a white line through the slide. i'm guessing that's from the barrel and it's caused by the slide not exactly being in place when it locks forward.

I left the clipin sound out for a a couple reasons. I feel that the sliderelease sound kind of covers over the clipin. If I delay the sliderelease any further, it wouldn't be in sync with the animation. Also i'm kinda lazy.

forget, I was hoping nobody would notice that...
Yeah, i'm trying to fix that little white box that pops up in the animation sequence. It's super hard to spot something so small when there's about 13,000 vertices in the model to cover it up.

The slide is out of place because Milkshape is a tosspot and doesn't allow for relative movement; Instead, it forces you to move (very inaccurately) along the X Y and Z axis. So I tried to make the slide move in a bit later in the animation, and I guess I moved it too far to the left. I'll hopefully find time to fix this.

I wanted it to look more like an actual FiveSeveN, not a box that spits out bullets.
Uh, that actually looks perfectly fine like a P99, it just needs solid shading lol.
