Does anyone else thing that this is a pretty stupid phone?

*The flexibility of this product is limited. This phone may be bent flat up to 180 degrees for a limited period of time only. Do not bend inward or twist.
10/10 engineering

I was skeptical, but I saw it in store while I was browsing.  It actually seemed pretty cool.

Why would you ever need a flexible smartphone

god dammit popsci said that by 2015 we'd have tablets you could roll up like newspaper and now all i get is a bendy straw

i mean i dunno tho, i guess the screen is a lot less likely to break

what are you talking about that's hella cool

I guess it curves onto your leg when you have it in your pocket.

Still sticks out like a sore thumb either way, but it's a step forward.

If it's in your pocket it will flex to the shape of your leg instead of sitting flat in your pocket.

it fits your ear-to-mouth better when you actually use your phone for loving speech.

Tumblr recommends you wrap it around your richard and set it to vibrate.

>pants curve more than 180 degrees
>snap
>phone's idea pointless

But you'd need to have it sideways in your pocket, and that ain't' happenin'.

but wait, does the screen contour too?

doesn't that basically mean the screen will like never break from dropping?

i'd get it solely for that purpose if that were true

Whatchoo talkin bout
This is pretty damn awesome
The scratch-healing thing is amazing too.

Do you have like
Legs that become concave randomly
and pants that contract to fit the shape
I don't think you know how degrees work man

Yeah, the screen bends.
It's not shatter or crack-proof, but it's resistant.
