Does anyone ever at night look into the sky and think:I could be dead at any moment if a star blew up, or at any moment, gravity could cease to exist and we'd all be dragged into space. It creeps me out when I think about that.

When I was like 8 I would have dreams if I laid down in grass the world would lose gravitational pull and I would fall forever but that stopped a loooonnng time ago lol

No but I look at my screen and wonder why you make so many topics.

#smackdown

except that many stars blew up and we didnt die

also gravity doesnt just stop existing

If it cheers you up, it's nice to believe this is just an adventure, and when you die you go to experience a different place

Gravity would only "stop" if Earth suddenly had no mass, which isn't possible. yet.

1. the only star that could kill us is the sun, because of how fast light travels if another star explodes, even the one second nearest to us, it would take millions of years for us to even see it explode.

2. gravity can never not exist

so my answer is no: i don't

no but i think that i could be hit a nuclear warhead at any moment even though i live in a city with only around 65,000~ in it

Sometimes I do drift into long thoughts about how life began, how something so complex as the human brain could come out of trillions of tiny little wiggly forgets.

even the one second nearest to us, it would take millions of years for us to even see it explode.
Alpha Centari is 4 light years away.
Where the hell did you get "millions of years" from?

If you ever think about why life exists your brain sort of goes into a loop.

Seriously? 4? stuff i was off by a lot. still though, alpha centauri isn't even the right type of star to create a supernova, and hence we're safe.
