Author Topic: The Future of Blockland? Discuss!  (Read 963 times)

What do you think is going to happen to Blockland in the near future? We already had RTB shut down with all of the "dramatic" things going about. I have a whole rant on Blockland's current state but that's another ball game.

Blockland might lose a lot of users with all these boring RP's.

I find it very strange that someone would just be sitting on their computer and thinking "Gee, there are too many RPs. I guess it's time to uninstall Blockland forever"

No. I wouldn't call that "leaving" I'd just call it "taking a break". Servers change periodically and most of the RPs are gone within a few days anyway.

I think Blockland has an interesting future, to say the least. I think something will replace RTB, 50k-90k users will start to learn how to use the game and how to build, and lots more. It all depends on Badspot's approach to all of this, I think he's doing great so far. A lot of people say that many of these new users play once and never come on again, but from what I've seen - many of them keep coming back. I am seeing so many returning 50k-90k players now, which is a good thing. It's a new generation of Blocklanders.

RTB shutting down doesn't mean Blockland is going down hill, also, this discussion was dropped around a week ago, please lock this.

i think there will be more friends for blake1 because 90k friends isnt enough

Blockland wont go down because of rtb. End of the discussion

i think there needs to be more serious clans. even if people dont join a clan, the clans usually hold better servers to join.

and there needs to be more... clan interactions, or some kinda purpose to clans to make this more popular.
