Investigate the presumed Yarka Station, but still be cautious. Aliens are smelly.
You walk for miles, until your objective marker reaches around 142 meters before the snow and cold begins to pick up.  A warning is displayed, telling you that temperatures are becoming dangerously low.

forget that stuff, go back and get some sort of heat source to prevent yourself from freezing to the point you can't properly move before going back over.

Do you have any detectors that you can put down?  Are there heat sources ahead?

According to your detectors, the nearest heat signature is at Yarka Station.  Which is strange... Yarka Station has been abandoned for almost 6 years.

Burst in guns-ablazin'

How much time do you have before you lose mobility of your limbs?  Move close to the station, gun at the ready.

Also do you think you can open a plasma capsule without causing too much noise/without harming yourself in order to obtain warmth?

You have approximately five minutes before your fuel lines freeze up and ultimately end your "life" until you can be repaired.

You should be able to open a pulse cartridge just fine, however you don't know if your armor will be able to withstand the heat.  Considering your armor was built to resist heat based projectiles, theoretically it should, but there's no telling how it will react to such large amounts of plasma at once.

Is there a way to moderate the mixtures of the substances so that the plasma is produced in moderation?  Also, take shelter from wind if possible.

The only way you could think of is to poke a hole in it to limit how much comes out at a time.

Well, go up to the station.  See what the situation is, and then have that plasma cartridge at the ready.

Go super run or do roboty things to go.

Go, go my child. Go forget their stuff up.

You trudge onwards through the snow that grows in height by the minute.  Your constant movement seems to keep you unfrozen for the time being.  You grow closer and closer to Yarka Station, and at the same time the snow seems to be slowing down.  Eventually, you are able to make it to your marker.  Before you stands an abandoned port for boarding ships in orbit.  There is a shuttle in one of the docks on the left, but that appears to be it.  On the right is the station itself, where the tickets were sold.  In front of your is the Station's market and lodgings, for those who wait for their ships to arrive in orbit.  And just to the side of the station on the right is a small restaurant.  Your sensors indicate that there are at least five heat signatures in the market and lodgings.  Their body heat suggests that they are human.

Time to introduce a new tool, kiddos, it's called the sonic imaging device.  It's built in to both command and SPECACT drones of the Soverus Empire, and can be used to map out place that are out of your view.  For example, if there was a brick wall between you and your target, and you were trying to decide what part of the wall is the best part to burst through, you would use this tool.  It would reveal to you the location of your target as well as his/her surroundings, such as furniture, trash, weapons, etc.  I bring it up because it will definitely come in handy for the future.
