what

are you supposed to kill them?!

Approach the small restaurant and declare that you come peacefully, you just need to warm up.

I dunno shoot some cigarettes or something.

You make sure your PBCSS is ready as you begin to run toward the lodgings building, pressing against the wall on the outside.  You activate your sonic imaging device, and your targets are revealed to you.  Each appears to be armed with at least a conventional assault weapon.  The rooms in the building are especially tight, so you instead switch to your secondary weapon.  You take a few steps back from the wall, bending your mechanical knees.  The servo motors begin to whine almost as loud as the wind blows, and with one high pitched squeak the motors send you flying through the next story window, shattering the glass and landing on the carpeted floor.
The occupant of the room is, needless to say, surprised.  You raise your pistol quickly, firing two shots before he can even turn into his center mass.  He drops to the ground screaming in agony.  You quickly put another round through his head, ceasing his scream and splattering a combination of grey matter, white matter, and blood all over the floor.  The other occupants of the building begin to shout, and you can hear the thudding of their heavy footsteps as they begin to run toward the room.

Hide behind something.

you quickly hide behind the door

Close door and switch to primary.  Use your sonic imaging device and fire through the walls/door.

Using your sonic imaging, you discover that the other people in the building are quickly converging on your position.  You holster your pistol and quickly unsling your PBCSS, raising the barrel and drawing a bead on the man closest to your room.  You squeeze the trigger, the round flies through the wall and hits him in his center mass, dropping him almost instantly.  "forget!  forget!" you can hear him scream as he writhes in pain on the ground.  The other man quickly rushes toward him, rather than your room, picking him up and dragging him by a drag handle on his vest.  He sprays his rifle blindly at the direction from which the shot came, the bullets penetrating the wall, some of them splinter and fly around two feet, while others smack the wall behind you.  None of them successfully hit you.

If your objective is to kill them, exit the building, then find another spot where you can surprise them.

Are the Geneva Conventions still a thing?

Are the Geneva Conventions still a thing?
The who what conventions?

The who what conventions?
Oh damn...

Well according to Geneva Conventions, we can't shoot the guy carrying away the injured man, unless he aims at you, I think, but you're a robot and that's over a thousand years old, and it only applied on Earth so...  I guess you can shoot that guy.
