Author Topic: Derek [[CRITICAL]] : The Most Stereotypical Blockland Host.  (Read 3480 times)

I was searching the server list for a nice freebuild where I could attempt to recreate a castle I saw in a text book. This server sucked, that server sucked, then I joined Derek [[CRITICAL]]'s freebuild. I spawned and the first thing I saw was Blocko Blupo and 3 other default saves loaded. I looked around. There was a spammy building with the name "cum bux" on it. There was spam and lonesome vehicle spawns everywhere. No custom add ons, it was like he didn't even try. So I provided some constructive criticism and was perma-banned in seconds. Here are the chat logs.

first of all, why didn't you just host a server instead of joining one, and what you think the definition of "constructive criticism" is, its probably wrong.

contrary to popular belief, "it looks like you didn't even try" is not helpful

So his server doesn't meet what you want?  forget you and your double standards.

ok op is autistic, the freebuild gamemode only has default bricks

I wanted to do it on a public server so others could help or watch.

Constructive criticism is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive and negative comments, in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one.

I provided a valid and well-reasoned opinion about his work in a negative comment, yet obviously in a friendly manner, as i clearly said i was trying to help him.

blockland only begins with default add-ons

"Very Professional" "Its like you didn't even try"

The server was not at all what I wanted. I'm not saying that the reason he didnt try was because it had no addons, but if he really tried to better his server he would have jazzed up the default freebuild. More bricks, etc.

I actually apologize for this, but it's hard to sense someone's tone when they write it in text, i didn't at all mean it in a harmful way.

Maybe he wants to host with as limited add-ons as possible, I've done that with only default add-ons and I got quite a bit of people, I just wanted to limit myself.
