That's your personal opinion, not a fact. If you would tell me that the sun was going to grow limbs and masturbate furiously at the thought of Ben Stiller being a silently pronounced letter "p", i would see it as more believable than the idea of EA paying money to IGN to give their games higher scores.
I'm quite sure that no amount that a company would pay any gaming site to give a biased review would be worth the massive scandal and website traffic that a scoop of "generic company goes so low to bribe reviewers" would cause.
If you've been determining if IGN/Gamespot give out fair reviews by the numerical score the
different people who write reviews on the site interpreter
differently, you're missing the point. There are still walls of text that give out completely fine arguments towards and against the game.
