Author Topic: Two kids (including one in my math class) killed in a car accident  (Read 1749 times)

you know what i meant, the people in charge should fix stuff if it happens a lot.

I'm meaning to say that it can happen anywhere, and the roads currently in the area would have to be targeted by the state or the county and wouldn't be first priority (not sure why, cause it's stupid).  I live near Hwy 21 (used to live on it) and it is known as Blood Alley, USA, but it isn't narrow or anything; it's just from high speeds.

holy forget op you live close to me, richland county, yeah i know we suck.

Now ill never wear a seatbelt ever again

seatbelts are overrated anyway
when my dad had a very near fatal car accident him not wearing a seatbelt saved his life because it would've otherwise broken his back, apparently
the accident itself was bad enough that he actually died for a few minutes

Seatbelts are generally safer than without though, so why not be safe?

I live in a very rural area where the roads are so narrow that they can barely accommodate my van and there are cliffs all over the place.  All the wrecks this year have happened at night I think, so that would be a contributing factor.
I live on a one lane road and people still get 2 cars by pretty decently.
Except once when the paver took up the entire road and the bus had to cut through someones yard.

Is the speed limit 55mph though?

very sad,

here in california we don't get black ice

when i was 10, one of my friends got hit by a car skating in the parking lot of the apartments i lived in at the time so i know how you feel, that stuff sucks.

for anyone wondering, he DID turn out ok in the end but he has a big ass scar on his leg because of it.

35 on my road. But no one follows it. Near impossible to due to the downhill part. I can't even keep my bike under speed limit..

at least he enjoyed his life

My dad once threw part of an old desk at a speeding Land Rover on our road.  Our speed limit is 30 and he was being Trinick going above 70.

oh i thought IL, you would have been right next to me
