Author Topic: THE (RESTRICTION) OF RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS!  (Read 11109 times)

My debate group was chosen to do this topic, the thing is:
we don't know if we are for or against.

of course I am for guns, but I don't know how I would go against it other than the "omg guns make bad guys bad" and "guns kill people!".

how about

why the forget would a civilian need an AR15

there you go

guns shoot bad guys

guns are good

they're about as safe as a sports car and those aren't needed either but they're still legal because as long as you obey the law and know how to properly handle them you can use them safely and have fun with it, which is one reason among several to have a gun

Hey America,
We (England) get about 1 crime with a gun a year (and its usually a massive heist or a toy gun)
I feel safe knowing that the guy that will break into my house will pretty much most of the time, not have anything on him (we dont even get that much robberies anyways)

Obviously, you can't just make an anti-gun law in America, as business will fail, people will be angry at losing their weapons, and people will still have them.
Truth is, you will always be the stupid country with weapons. Even if a law was put in place, you wouldn't even get rid of half the civilian weapons in your country.

guns dont kill people, people kill people

guns dont kill people, people kill people
toasters dont toast toast, toast toasts toast

they're about as safe as a sports car
I'm for gun rights, but this is just dumb.

bragging about less gun crime and being a total richard snip

the only reason why england only gets less gun crimes is because they have strict gun laws and have a more brutal police force. america as is stands right now shouldn't even be called land of the free. it should be called land of the not-so free.

also, it's not our fault a madman who's legal of age can just walk into a gun shop and buy a weapon as long as they have the money and an ID.

No, the firearm killed the person, the person pulling the trigger and aiming at the victim only helped it in doing so.

Wait, you're okay with firearms.
Kinda surprised you're not having a seizure over how evil guns and the evil conservatives that want them are.

Yeah, cars are far less safe.

Think of it this way.

If laws didn't stop a criminal from shooting someone or sticking up a store before, they aren't going to stop them from acquiring weapons through other means.

toasters dont toast toast, toast toasts toast
toasters toast bread, not toast. If they toasted toast, we'd have burnt toast.

Do you even know what an AR15 is without googling it

Its a semi automatic rifle

there are thousands of those that aren't even ar15

so whats your point exactly?
