Nice job on the animation, mod. I wish I had your motivation to get things done, lol. If I may, a tip for future animations.

Don't ramp up movements so obviously (like when the watch hand comes on screen). Also, make the movements a bit sharper and exaggerated. Great start, though. :)

When he moves when sitting on the box-thingy, his movements are too smooth and fluid. Each individual movement can be smooth, but the connections between movements should be abrubt. Also, try to avoid accelerating a part of the character after that part has begun it's motion. In other words, don't start moving a hand slowly, and then accelerate it over half a second to a higher speed. Instead, either pause for a moment with an abrubt stop, back track the motion slightly, and then continue the motion at a higher rate. Of course, there are times when that is acceptable, but in cartoons, the general rule is that the more fluid the animation, the less cartoony it is. This is not to say, however, that it is more realistic either.

I want to art like this.

any better?
Yes. Maybe a little slow at some points still, but a definite improvement.

Also, don't forget to add little bits of detail animation, too (such as making his eyes blink a couple more times, or quickly waving his arms back and forth after the paper hits him).

found that same galaxy/nebula thing on the internet, and used that^ as an inspiration to make this wallpaper for my ipod:

the high contrast and deep shadows are a little much I guess but its still got hipster swag

I use paint.net & sketchup

My favourites from the OP have to be the polygonal trees and the creature on the cloud, I absolutely adore those types of designs in art. Love minimalism too
