only mere moments ago, i, an individual of refined mini empires tastes and opinion, joined the server of a guy named swain. as i was observing the most wonderful builds scattered around aimlessly in the blue "waters" of the play area, i found what can only be described as the most handicapped looking island in the server. because i am highly critical of handicapped looking islands, i voiced my opinion that it sucked, only a message after the other admin said the same thing. smiling jewishly, the admin mustered up all sin and rot that lay inside the confines of his brain and loving banned me what the hell dude you didnt even try to interpret the context of the message.

it's a mini empires, which means people build their own islands. this one island that was not his just happened to look like stuff.

I'll point out a few things.  First, your standards are bullstuff.  Secondly, It's fine and dandy to give constructive criticism, but "What is that ugly piece of stuff" isn't of the sort, and it makes you look vacuous.  Lastly, if you dislike what's being built on the server, then leave or just ignore it, no one is coercing you to gawk at it constantly, and if you just can't stop looking at how ugly it is, then hopefully you have enough self-control to seek help.

the thing is, though. he banned me like 2 seconds after i posted the message, without spectating me or seeing what i was actually talking about. and he didn't even ban the two other guys who agreed that the island looked like stuff.

clearly this is personal harassment.

don't mind me if i don't take your word for it. if you had any thought on how to convince everyone else this server host was a bad host, you would've included this in the OP.

You're insulting his build dude, you expect him to just let you away with that, think about how he feels, next time be more constructive and give more vacuous detailing, maybe he won't just ban you.

he didn't even build it, because MERPs are usually not entirely built by one guy. the message was more of a call for him to come look at this ugly bright green square island, but apparently it offended him so greatly that he had to ban me for 5760 minutes.

I suppose I can agree he overreacted, however - try to use better wording when criticizing something, you'll drop your ban chances tremendously.

EDIT: this took place in a MERP (mini empire roleplay) server that usually features several builds built by several members of the blockland community. the insult was not directed at his own build, but rather a build built by one of the members of the server. this ban occured approximately 2 to 4 seconds after i posted the message, and no direct observation of the build itself by the owner (swain) was done. contextual clues have led to the conclusion that the owner of the island, P_p, is not a family member of the owner or in any way emotionally important to him. from what i know, the other offenders of the build were not banned or disciplined in any way, leading to the conclusion that the owner had a problem with me specifically. if so, why didn't he just ban me earlier, when i had made my presence in the server clear and apparent?
