Did the lady work there, or was she some random bitch? If some random lady told me to stop bouncing a ball I'd probably be like 'uhh, why?' but if a store employee told me to stop I'd apologize and put the ball back. I'd probably still be confused why, though, because unless you were bouncing a bowling ball I doubt you were doing any harm.
