I don't listen to some bands or like them particularly but it doesn't mean I don't respect them for their contribution to the good music today. I.e. Nirvana, Heart, The Beatles, etc.

This, the only people I hate are a lot of rappers that only talk about women, love, etc and their raps have no meaning beyond that. I hate all the Dubstep I've listened to, I can't stand the sound of it. Country, pop, rap, etc, I am fine with as long as the song server a purpose other than making money.
