Don't say they aren't good just because your musical taste doesn't coincide with the artist. They created and experimented with something new with their first album and it succeeded, and I think it sounds wonderful. The musical content itself is also really good, using progressions not heard before in its time. I don't say 2pac isn't good just because I don't particularly enjoy rap. I however respect him for making music with content.
You keep saying they're not good. I'm saying that they are, you just don't like how they sound. It's like saying Mozart was terrible, just because you don't like how his compositions sound (granted that Linkin Park is no Mozart, but the concept applies).
