Lol. So you still need to pay for a dedicated server. I couldn't imagine watching you try to host 512 users on your home connection.
Dedicated servers cost as little as 8-16$ a month. But no, I do not run them off a dedicated server yet. When I need to I will, but I see no sense in spending the money until I move again simply because the server is new and there is no need to when my network can handle a decent 35 people. Most I've ever had unfortunately, but the number of people doesn't matter to me. So if the people increase to a hundred, I doubt my network could handle it, then I'll buy a dedicated server. If it continues to increase so will my server. It doesn't get any simpler then that. If I really didn't want to spend money on it I could just use the money I make from adsense, but I only make 6$ a month on average so I'd be short 2$. Not that I can't afford it.
Its just like he says, if I do have to pay for it, it only comes down to 2$-12$+tax a month is all. Granted, I'd love to pay only that yearly. You seem to be coming at me with a point that was never apart of the conversation. The point that I was making
is that it is possible to do it for free.
