Author Topic: Add-on Limit  (Read 885 times)

Whenever I make a server it says I have to many add-ons enabled and some add-ons will not load.
so I disabled a lot of add-ons that I didn't need and it still says there are too many.

What is the add-on limit and if it can be expanded I would love to know how:)

Whoa is there a limit? I have activated a stuffton of then and not such a thing appeared to me.

Whoa is there a limit?
Yeah there is one I had that problem too. I don't think you should expand the limit  if possible (You could crash Blockland or your computer).

I think the limit is somehow calculated by your specs

There is an add-on limit? I thought there was only a datablock limit.

There is, but addons use up datablocks.

not all do, only ones that use datablocks

The limit cannot be changed. If you exercise some basic decision making while enabling add-ons rather than just enabling tons of stuff with no regards for what kind of server you intend to host, it's almost never an issue. Start axing weapons and vehicles, especially packs of them. They're the most heavy on datablocks, which is what the actual limit is for.

The way networking is set up, the first 4096 object IDs are reserved for datablocks.  If you go past that, then the datablocks would get mixed in with regular objects outside the designated "datablock" space.

I can load 3000 datablocks no problem
post your console where it says the total datablock count

I believe the datablock limit is 4096?
